How It Works
The TwistLatch™ Starter Kit includes everything you need to get started.
Step 1: Bond the 100mm Dock Plate to your surface — helm, console, dash, inflatable tube, poly tender. Solid, sealed, flat surfaces. Minimal texture OK.
Step 2: Bond the 50mm Key Plate to your gear — phone, insulated beverage cooler or cup, camera, tablet, gps (must have a solid flat area)
Step 3: Slide the Key Plate into the Dock Plate. Feel it engage. Locked.

Yes — TwistLatch™ is a two-part system by design. The Dock Plate bonds permanently to your surface. The Key Plate bonds to your gear. Slide them together, feel them engage, and you’re locked in. Twist to release. Neither works alone — and together, they’re the last mount you’ll need.
Can I move it later?
The The TwistLatch™ Starter Kit is designed to be a permanent installation. The 3M marine-grade adhesive is actually rated stronger than the 12kg magnetic field — so your gear detaches cleanly before the plate ever shifts. Set it and forget it. If you ever do need to remove the plate, fishing line behind it breaks the bond clean.
Will it hold in rough water or on bumpy roads?
Built for the harshest environment on the planet. Tested in chop, spray, corrugated roads, and everything in between. The 12kg locking field doesn’t flinch. Your gear stays exactly where you left it.
What if it breaks?
